Calling all voices

Why do we speak? What need are we fulfilling?

It can be as simple as wanting the salt shaker to be moved closer to you, or as dire as needing to alert the people around you that your boat is sinking, but we always speak to fulfill a need. The need to connect, the desire to inform, the urge to persuade…

You may have seen that Ignite CSP is starting a brand new offering, the Podcast Catalyst. This is a six-week small group coaching experience for people who want to connect with listeners, to reach an audience with their voice. If that sounds like you, please think about joining us!

You might be an established podcaster who is interested in developing some new skills, or you may not even know yet what you would want to talk about. The format of the Catalyst is flexible! We welcome first-timers and old hands!

We have recently worked with two different podcasters.

Peggie came to me with a podcast title and general idea. She says:  The high value of having Angie as an outside coach on the podcast project was a delight. It’s not just about having a podcast idea, it’s about thinking it through, planning and executing.  I don’t think this would have happened without Angie’s guidance.

Tania had been producing her podcast for a long time when we started working together. She says: I present stories differently. I can do this because I now know how to construct them for listeners instead of readers. I know I am getting better at this because it is getting easier to dismantle my writing. I came to podcasting after years of writing an educational blog, so my default mode is to write for readers.

I would love to hear what you want to share with listeners.  You can read more about the Podcast Catalyst here, or email me to set up a time to talk! We will be accepting members into this cohort of the Podcast Catalyst until May 1.
