Angie Flynn-McIver is the founder and President of Ignite CSP: Coaching, Speaking, Presenting. Angie calls Ignite’s coaching approach being ”detectives of human behavior.” Our coaches combine the coaching toolkit of deep listening, discerning questions, and active support with specific expertise in helping people uncover their most effective and clear communication.
As a speaker, Angie has delivered keynotes, appeared on many podcasts, and served as a guest speaker for professional programs and courses. She can talk about just about anything, but her favorite topics are leadership development, communication, and what makes people tick.
Angie has coached leaders in many fields–finance, the arts, professional services, nonprofits, education–who are looking for a path to the next level. These leaders are passionate about their work, and they know they need to be able to communicate in many kinds of situations to succeed.
Angie comes to this work from a lifetime spent in theatre: acting, directing, and producing. She has directed more than forty productions, including plays by Shakespeare, Stoppard, Kushner, Shepard, and many others. Angie and her husband, Charlie, founded North Carolina Stage Company in Asheville, NC, which has won many local, regional, and national awards since its inception in 2001. She is a PCC-level certified member of the International Coach Federation. She holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Fielding Graduate University and a BA in Theatre with Honors from Smith College.
