Say Nothing

Here’s a lesson I keep having to learn:

Lots of times, what I need to say is nothing.

I am learning to ask: what do I want to accomplish by saying this? See where my true intention is. If the candid answer is something along the lines of “I want to show how wrong he is,” maybe I should just stay quiet for now.
