Angie Flynn-McIver is the founder and President of Ignite CSP. She has designed and facilitated leadership-training workshops, coached executives, and taught workshops all over the country. Angie is the lead designer for all of the company’s training programs, and she recruits and trains all of Ignite CSP’s coaches. Her individual clients include politicians, clergy, corporate executives, professional public speakers, musicians, and more.
Angie comes to this work from a lifetime spent in theatre: acting, directing, and producing. She began her career at Playwrights Horizons, an award-winning off-Broadway theatre company, and she was the assistant director on the Broadway play Sacrilege, starring Ellen Burstyn and Giancarlo Esposito, within a year. Since then she has directed more than forty productions, including plays by Shakespeare, Stoppard, Kushner, Shepard, and many others. Angie and her husband, Charlie, founded North Carolina Stage Company in Asheville, NC, which has won many local, regional, and national awards since its inception in 2001.
Angie is a member of the International Coach Federation and a certified coach. She holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Fielding Graduate University and a BA in Theatre with Honors from Smith College. Angie has taught on the faculties of both the University of North Carolina at Asheville and Warren Wilson College. She serves on the boards of the North Carolina Theatre Conference and Lillian’s List.
